Application of Ozone Purification Technology on Piggery Wastewater

  • Taking ozone purification technology as dominant,cleaning dry manure by electric cleaning machinery,solid-liquid separation by filter press,filtering by quartz sand,and ozone purification treatment technology were carried out in order to explore feasibility of treatment of piggery wastewater process.Results showed that working efficiency of cleaning dry manure by electric cleaning machinery was 5 to 15 times better than the way of water flush excrement.Treatment by ozonated water with the concentration of 7.8 mgL for 10 minutes caused the value of pH and the concentrations of SS,NH3-N,TP,COD,BOD,Cu and Zn in manure decrease by 12.20%,97.54%,89.80%,94.74%,96.55%,91.73%,77.85% and 91.28% respectively.Degradation efficiency of sulfadiazine,sulfamethoxazole,sulfapyridine were 97.37%,96.23% and 93.64% respectively.Treatment efficacy of total number of bacteria and intestinal flora was almost 100%.Treated water met the emissions requirements of GBT 18596—2001‘Livestock and Poultry Breeding Industry Pollutant Discharge Standards’.
