Research on Driving Performance of Walking Variant Transporter for Yunnan Mountainous Area

  • Structure and different driving modes of walking variant transporter for Yunnan mountainous area were introduced.Drive and adhesion conditions were analyzed.Necessary and sufficient conditions of uphill driving for walking variant transporter were obtained.Maximum gradeability situation that subjected to engine power and adhesion was analyzed.At the same time,taking 204T type walking variant transporter as an example to calculate and analyse.Results showed that when the power of engine was 14.7kW,using the rear or all wheel drive mode (four round),maximum gradeability of walking variant transporter was 17.7°,it would have better driving performance and strong climbing ability.
