Design and Kinematic Simulation on Obstacle Removing Mechanism of Wheeled Forest Harvester

  • With the rapid development of technology,forest harvester plays an important role in the field of forestry.But due to the bad working condition of forest environment,essential obstacle removing mechanism can help to improve operation efficiency of forest harvester.A kind of obstacle removing mechanism of wheeled forest harvester suitable for China was designed.Virtual prototype was established in ProE.Kinematics and dynamics simulation of push shovel was made.Motion characteristic curve and force curve of push shovel hydraulic cylinder were obtained.Analysis results showed that maximum axial thrust of push shovel hydraulic cylinder was 51 408 N in the process of operation for obstacle removing mechanism.It met functional requirements of removing obstacles.
