Characteristics and Application Progress of Superheated Steam Drying Technology

There are more and more applied technology to use superheated steam for heat treating biomass materials and increasing attention.Principle and characteristics of superheated steam drying technology were focused on and advantages and disadvantages were analyzed.Meanwhile，establishment of the heat and mass transfer was introduced and a comprehensive review on application progress of food，wood，sludge and so on was made.
