Harvesting Status and Development Countermeasure of Water Chestnut in Southern Region

Water chestnut is important characteristic fruits and vegetables agricultural products.Area and production of water chestnut in Guangxi autonomous region rank first in our country.But difficult to harvest always is a bottleneck restricting its rapid development.Taking Hezhou city as an example，planting condition and harvesting status of water chestnut were introduced.Problems of mechanized harvest，economic performance and social benefits were analyzed.Development countermeasures on mechanized harvest of water chestnut were put forward.
