Investigation of Vegetable Pesticide Residue in Farmer Market in Taiyuan City

Vegetable product quality and safety is very important.Pesticide residue detection of common fruits and vegetables samples in three farmer markets in Taiyuan city was done.Results showed that pesticide residues of leaf vegetables were high.Some measures should be adopted to degrade pesticide residues after citizens bought.Farmer market was suggested to increase pesticide residue detection to ensure safety of citizens basket.
