Abstract
According to planting requirements of ridge cultivation for potato,3Z-1.6 type ridge potato cultivator was designed and developed.Computer aided design was carried out by solid design software CAXA and finite element analysis software Fempro.Overall structure and parameters of various working parts were determined.Field test showed that ridge spacing consistent variation coefficient of this machinery was 3.4%,surface soil thickness in the bottom of ditch was 5.2 cm,trip of inserting soil was 0.9 m.3Z-1.6 type ridge potato cultivator met design requirements and it was promoted and applicated in a small area.
