Family farm planning based on balance utilization of labor resources was put forward through analyzing survey data of 1 125 kinds of family farms in Hunan province.Planting family farms must optimize with the group as a precondition to diversify cropping patterns to achieve labor resources anniversary balanced use.Breeding family farm can build closed production system for balance utilization of labor resources through farrow.Planting and breeding combination family farms must enhance overall benefit of system throughindustrial chain of planting project and breeding project.At the same time，some production projects can reduce labor consumption by outsourcing services.
