Design on a Kind of Drying Equipment for Fruits and Vegetables

  • Annual production of fruits and vegetables in our country was tremendous.But relatively high cost of transportation and preservation affected fruit products sales.A kind of convenient and practical equipment for drying fruits and vegetables was designed.Drying test results showed that its thermal insulation performance was less than or equal to 5℃(setting temperature 50℃,cooling every 10 minutes),batch-processing capacity was greater than 3 000 kg,average amount of batch moisture evaporation was greater than 48 kg/h.The equipment could satisfy fresh fruit and vegetable drying needs of majority growers.And its promotion and application prospects was good.
