Effect Comparison of UASB and UBF on Landfill Leachate Treatment under High Organic Loading

Under the condition of（38±2）℃，landfill leachate was treated by UASB and UBF anaerobic technology under high organic loading rate.Results showed that in the anaerobic process，the organic loading rate increased to 15 kg COD（m3·d）and HRT was 5 d.In UASB anaerobic reactor，raw material gas production rate was 25.4~29.6 m3t，the removal rate of COD could be more than 94%，volumetric biogas production rate was 5.77~6.02 m3m3，content of CH4 was more than 70%，and pH was 7.21~8.25.In UBF anaerobic reactor，raw material gas production rate was 22.7~25.4 m3t，removal rate of COD could be more than 90%，volumetric biogas production rate was 4.99~5.60 m3m3，content of CH4 was about 66%，and pH was 7.29~8.01.UASB anaerobic technology was better than UBF anaerobic technology in the treatment of landfill leachate.
