Soil Mechanical Composition of Two Main Soil Types in Aohan Banner

Two main soil（sand soil，chestnut soil）in Aohan Banner，Chifeng city were chosen as research object，using Mastersizer 3000 laser particle size analyzer to determine different types of 0~100 cm soil depth within scope of soil mechanical composition（clay，silt and sand）.Results showed that mechanical composition of same soil type were basically similar，soil particle proportion in the same layer of different types were different.Overall performance of soil particle content in different soil types was that，for sand，sand soil＞chestnut soil，for clay and silt，chestnut soil＞sand soil.Results could provide a reasonable evaluation of local soil structure and provide a scientific basis for scientific use of land.
