Design and Finite Element Analysis of Finger Wheel of Finger-wheel Rake

  • Finger wheel is a main component of finger-wheel rake,spring-tooth is a key part of finger wheel,spring-tooth should have enough strength and high wear resistance as strong as possible to bear stretch from the earth,it will deform and break even,therefore structure performance of spring-tooth is directly related to security and reliability of finger wheel work.Model of spring-tooth was established based on SolidWorks,finite element analysis was done for spring-tooth by using ANSYS,its stress and deformation were obtained,in contrast to the stress and deformation data under each operation mode,maximum deformation was in fingertip region contacted with ground by analyzing,stress of spring-tooth mainly concentrated in the bending,some solving measures were put forward,these measures included choosing right materials,adjusting structure size,making a scientific process,and so on.Through finite element analysis for spring-tooth of finger wheel,strength and stiffness of spring-tooth could be checked,it could provide reference for further structure optimization design of finger wheel.
