Effect of Different Salt Stress on Seedlings Growth of Saussurea amara L.

Seedling salt tolerance of Saussurea amara L.to four single-salt of Na2CO3，NaHCO3，NaCl and Na2SO4 was studied.Growth conditions of species under stress of different salt and different concentrations were analyzed mainly from survival rate，plant height，root length and salt tolerance index.Results showed that，plant height and root length reduced with NaCl concentration increased，survival rate of this forage with neutral salt stress were more higher than with alkaline salt stress，and survival rate was decreased when alkaline salt concentration increased.
