Weichang Manzu and Mongolian Autonomous County has vast territory and abundant resources，it is national key construction farming-pastoral region.Status quo of grassland construction of Weichang farming-pastoral region was analyzed and effective measures to strengthen grassland construction in farming-pastoral region and development direction of modern animal husbandry were put forward.It could provide reference value for grassland construction of similar type regions.
