Case Study on Establishment of Database for Soil Erosion of Nanxiaohegou Basin Based on GIS

Nanxiaohegou basin is a typical small basin in loess gully plateau region.A database of investigation for soil erosion situation in the watershed and collected data should be established to manage it effectively.Based on the GIS technique，database for the soil erosion in Nanxiaohegou basin was established by studying land utilization，vegetation coverage and slope information of area.Database could provide basis for harnessing soil erosion in Nanxiaohegou basin.
