Finite Element Analysis on Structure Strength of 7 t Drive Axle Housing

  • A 7 ton models of drive axle housing was used as a object of research,using finite element static analysis and dynamic analysis theory as the basics,combined with CAD software CATIA and finite element processing software,whole process of vehicle driving axle housing from 3D modeling to structural strength analysis was completed.Research showed that,through modal analysis,static analysis and dynamic analysis of driving axle housing,stress distribution of driving axle housing could be fully understood,and design model was convenient for design requirements of strength and stiffness.
