Achievements，Problems and Countermeasures of Disease and Pest Control of Melon and Fruit in Hainan Province

Prevention and control of diseases and pests in Hainan has been achieved as an important measure to carry out strategy of ecological establishment and promote sustainable and healthy development of Hainan tropical characteristic crop industry.However，there are still some problems in aspects of funding，basic research，construction of prevention and control team and cultivation of farmers′ awareness of prevention and control，and some specific countermeasures should be taken.
