Design of Monitoring System for Pesticide Safe Transportation Based on CAN Bus

  • Chemical composition of pesticide products is highly corrosive and toxic,transportation cost of pesticide is relatively high in midwestern and northeastern agricultural area,accidents due to pesticide transport occurs frequently.To meet requirement of pesticide safety transportation,a set of safety transportation monitoring system based on CAN bus was developed,multi-data fusion method combining with 3G communication,Beidou positioning technology and so on were adopted to system,that could monitor internal environment parameters in car including temperature,humidity,pressure and odor concentration and vehicle operation parameters including speed,acceleration and location.Corresponding tests were carried out,results showed that,relative error of measurement was less than 7%,level of standardization and informatization of agricultural transportation was improved.
