Application of GIS in Overall Plan of Rural Land Use：A Case Study in Guoluo，Qinghai Province

Rural land use planning was a complex project，which contained many factors，and interrelated factors affect each other.Traditional CAD technology had defects such as low efficiency and poor accuracy of results in rural land use planning.Therefore，it had become an inevitable trend of land and resources informatization construction，in which various geographic information technology software was gradually applied.GIS provided technical support for decision makers in these links with its powerful spatial analysis function，and advantages of GIS were fully brought into full play by status quo of the most scientific and technological content in this work and the planning map.This study focused on application of GIS technology in the rural land use master plan，and took Qinghai Province as an example.
