Design of Farmland Environmental Monitoring System Based on Internet of Things

  • In order to realize monitoring of farmland environmental parameters,a farmland environmental monitoring system based on internet of things was designed.Monitoring system constructed a network framework based on EPC architecture,sensing layer used ZigBee sensor nodes.Sensor nodes collected important environmental parameters related to farmland production in real time and controlled image of crop morphology.All kinds of data were sent to remote monitoring service layer through network construction layer.Farmland environmental monitoring system was tested,results showed that system could collect information in seed planting progress,seedling,flowering,fertilizing,spraying,irrigation,harvesting time,pests and diseases and monitoring process.
