Scale Optimization Design of Straw Collection and Storage Site

Take wheat and corn stalks for two seasons in a year as an example，existing collection and storage sites were investigated.Selection of common site equipment and sites was done according to straw material supply time，quantity，storage cost and storage convenience.Site′s investment，area and storage radius were estimated.It is suggested that optimum storage scale of storage station should be no more than 4 000 t/year for round bundles and no more than 7 000 t/year for square bundles.
