Research Progress of Plasma Activated Water Used in Agriculture

Application of low-temperature plasma for agriculture has been increasingly focused in recent years.Plasma-treated water is acidic solution whose oxidation-reduction potential，conductivity，parameters of reactive oxygen species（ROS）and nitrogen（RNS）are quite different from ordinary water.Research progress of agricultural applications with plasma-activated water was reviewed，such as seed germination，plant growth，and preservation of fresh fruit were promoted.Treatment equipment to produce plasma-activated water，its main chemical components and chemical reactions，and research progress of the working mechanism were reviewed.
