Abstract
In order to explore real-time movement law of heterogeneous particles’on an incline tube,a set of inclined tube test equipment with angle of 45° was designed.Real-time flow of 2 mm diameter ceramic balls and biomass char with different mass ratio(10∶1,30∶1 and 50∶1)and same cross-sections(X=690 mm)in inclined tube were studied by FTM(Fluorescent Trace Method)and PIV technique. Results showed that most of ceramic balls and biomass char particles were below central axis, velocity of ceramic balls was much larger than that of biomass char particles;above central axis, number of ceramic balls was sharp decrease, biomass char particles were mostly light and small in size, and they had a great influence on wall viscosity, which led speed difference between heterogeneous particles was not very large;at same time,it was proved that FTM was feasible to observe real-time movement law of ceramic balls by FTM.
