Present Situation and Development Direction of Alfalfa Seed Harvesting Mechanization in Inner Mongolia

With rapid development of grass industry，mechanized harvesting of alfalfa seeds has gradually become the focus of research.Based on physical characteristics of alfalfa seeds and technical requirements of harvesting agriculture，situation of alfalfa seed harvesting machinery abroad and the level of domestic achievements were described.Through analysis of mechanized harvesting of alfalfa seeds in Hohhot，Ordos and Bayannaoer of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region，existing problems of alfalfa seed harvesting machinery and suggestions for future development were put forward.
