Review of Edible Fungi Breeding Based on Low-energy Ion Beam Implantation Technology

  • The biological effects of low-energy ion beam implantation are used to modify and improve genetic material of organisms.It is a new technology applied to plant and microbial breeding in recent years,which is important to break the gene linkage and promote the diversification of plant and microbial genetic background.The mutagenic mechanism and the research progress of low-energy ion beam implantation technology in edible fungus breeding were reviewed.The problems and future development directions of low-energy ion beam implantation technology in edible fungus breeding research were prospected.
