Evaluation of Soybean Production and Export Prospects in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is one of the most important countries in agriculture production of Central Asia，and a significant exporter of agricultural products in the world.It has great potential for enhancing soybean planting with abundant agricultural resources.China is the largest consumer and importer of soybean，which mainly imports from Brazil，United States and Argentina.Due to the constraints of resources to expanding soybean production，meeting soybean consumption through imports will continue for a long time.However，uncertainty and risk of soybean imports have increased，as negative changes of trade environment.To ensure stable supply of soybean，it is important to accelerate diversification of soybean imports.The characteristics，constrains and potentials of agricultural production conditions，soybean supply and demand were summarized and predicted，at the same time，future developments of soybean industry in Kazakhstan were analyzed，future cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in the soybean industry was proposed.
