Data Collection in Farmland WSN Using Mobile Sink

In view of problems of small amount of data and large power consumption in data collection of wireless sensor network in farmland habitat monitoring scene，it can improve performance of wireless sensor network using mobile sink for data collection.Mobile sink moves along a predefined path in WSNs and collects data from nearby sensor nodes.However，due to fixed speed of mobile sink，amount of data collection is small or transmission delay is high.Optimal data acquisition scheduling of mobile sink was determined by optimizing data transmission scheduling and speed of mobile sink.Simulation results showed that algorithm could improve data collection and network throughput.
