Tissue Culture and Rapid Propagation Technology of Wax Apple and its Cultivation Techniques

Using some kinds of wax apple，with terminal buds，lateral buds and other parts as explants，adventitious buds were successfully induced by tissue culture.After rapid propagating，complete and virus-free plants were obtained.Results showed that explants sterilization success rate was as high as 93%.Optimal medium for adventitious buds induction was MS+ 6-BA 2.0+ IBA 0.2+ GA3 0.2，and the subculture multiplication factor was up to 3.2.Optimizing rooting medium was MS+ IBA 2.0+VB1 0.2.The rooting rate was 92.8% and transplanting survival rate was 96%.The study provided an effect way for rapid propagation of virus-free wax apple.
