Design and Experiment of Air Suction Carrot Planter

Aiming at problems of small size，light weight，irregular shape and impurities in seeds of carrot seeds，an air suction carrot planter was designed.The planter could complete operations such as ditching，seeding，soil covering，and compaction at one time.Through theoretical calculation and analysis，structure and key parameters of carrot planter and its seed suction device for seed metering device were determined.Field experiments were conducted to verify its seeding performance.Qualified rate of seeding depth was 90%，and rate of injury was 0，which met relevant national standards for precision seeding of carrots，laying foundation for mechanized seeding of carrots.
