Heat Storage and Release Characteristics of Calcium Chloride Hexahydrate Phase Change Wallboard in Greenhouse

  • Phase-change energy storage materials are promising in solar greenhouses,which can effectively reduce energy consumption and environmental pollution.Greenhouse brick wall was used as a control,in order to obtain reasonable method and size of phase change materials in greenhouse,heat storage and release time of phase change different thickness wall panels in the greenhouse were tested and analyzed.Results showed that,the 2 cm phase change energy storage wall panel could quickly store and release heat and make full use of materials.However,when used in a greenhouse,the heat storage and release time was short.Wall panels with a thickness of 4~5 cm could meet needs of continuous heat supply and heat absorption every day,but the test found that phase change material was not fully utilized.Comprehensively considering,the 3 cm phase change wall panel was a heat storage and release wall panel suitable for greenhouse applications.Compared with surface temperature of brick wall,phase change energy storage wall panel of 3 cm could effectively reduce surface temperature difference between day and night by about 3.5 ℃ in a sunny environment,and it could effectively reduce energy consumption of greenhouse heating at night when used in the greenhouse.
