Simulation and Experimental Study of Multi-duct Air-assisted Orchard Spray System Based on CFD

  • In order to study distribution of airflow and droplet distribution in orchard sprayer,distribution of gas field and gas-liquid two-phase flow field in a multi duct air supply and spray system suitable for orchard plant protection was studied by numerical analysis and experiment.Results showed that external airfield distribution of multi duct air delivery system was relatively uniform,and relative error of airflow velocity test value and simulation value at outlet was less than 13.7%.With increase of measurement distance,airflow velocity gradually decayed,and absolute error was basically 0~2 m/s.Relative error of droplet deposition rate (percentage) in the spray area of -0.6~0.6 m was less than 14%.Numerical analysis results accurately reflected airflow distribution and droplet deposition characteristics of air delivery system.
