Compilation of Index of Agricultural Mechanization Terminology

Taking practice of agricultural mechanization terminology index as an example，framework，presentation and working process of compilation of term index were discussed.Analysis of problems encountered in compilation of polysemy，homoionym words，ancient words，multi-sound words，uncommon words，and the mixing of Chinese characters and non Chinese characters was focused，and corresponding treatment methods were put forward.It could provide reference for compilation of index of other professional terms.
