Effects of Different Light Quality Treatments on Growth of Blueberry Seedlings in Tissue Culture

  • Effects of different red light(R)and blue light(B)ratios on growth and physiology of blueberry tissue culture seedlings were studied.Ten different red and blue light ratios(i.e.1∶1,1∶2,1∶3,1∶4,1∶5,1∶6,1∶7,1∶8,1∶9 and 1∶10)were used to treat blueberry tissue culture seedlings,and content of photosynthetic pigment were determined.Results showed that contents of chlorophyll a and total chlorophyll in T4 treatment were the largest;content of chlorophyll b in T10 treatment was the highest;T3 treatment had the highest carotene content.Different proportion of blue light and red light could change growth and physiological indexes of blueberry tissue culture seedlings.
