Abstract: Aiming at the course "Food Microbiology and Testing" of agricultural products processing and quality testing major in higher vocational colleges, ideological and political education in the course was explored, ideological and political goals of the course were set, and connection between ideology politics education and content of the course was designed． By two years teaching practice, several innovative teaching methods were presented, and a set of scientific course evaluation system integrating ideological and political education were established． Practice indicated ideological and political consciousness of students was significantly enhanced, and course scores were obviously improved． Teaching effect was remarkable．
