Abstract:
Harvesting is one of key links in oat production.Different harvesting methods have different effects on oat loss and grain quality.Combined harvest, artificial harvest, artificial harvest + mechanical threshing and mechanical harvest + mechanical threshing were used to harvest oat in the field. With total loss rate, impurity rate, broken rate and seed germination rate as indicators, effects of different harvesting methods on harvest quality of oat were compared and analyzed. Results showed that different harvesting methods had significant effects on total loss rate, impurity rate and broken rate.Germination rate of seeds in each group was above 85%, which met requirements of national standard, and there was no significant difference between groups. This study provided a theoretical basis for selecting rational harvesting methods and promoting harvesting techniques for oats.
