Abstract: Basic principle, classification, and current situation of mechanical weeding technology was introduced, mechanical weeding operation and influencing factors were analyzed through application cases of mechanical weeding operation mode．Results indicated that mechanical weeding operation mode has advantages such as high efficiency and low labor．Choosing mechanical weeding operation mode requires consideration of factors such as soil type, planting method and variety characteristics, terrain, and performance of weeding equipment．At the same time, it is necessary to carry out reasonable operation design and parameter adjustment according to specific farmland situation, in order to achieve the best weed control effect, promote dual improvement of agricultural environmental protection and crop yield and quality．
