Abstract: As main grain producing area in China, agricultural machinery industry in Heilongjiang Province has an important impact on improving agricultural production efficiency and output quality, as well as ensuring sustainable and healthy development of agricultural economy．However, agricultural machinery industry in Heilongjiang Province is currently facing challenges such as technological lag, slow equipment updates, and insufficient agricultural machinery services, which have constrained process of agricultural modernization．By using literature review and research methods, current development status of agricultural machinery and equipment industry in Heilongjiang Province was analyzed in detail, development problems of agricultural machinery and equipment industry in Heilongjiang Province were elaborated, and countermeasures and suggestions were proposed, in order to provide useful references for relevant policy formulation and industrial development．
