Abstract: In order to provide improvement suggestions and scientific support for promoting construction and management of high standard farmland, situation of county-wide construction of high standard farmland in Yuncheng County with aid of SWOT analysis method was studied．Advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and threats of high standard farmland construction in Yuncheng County were studied．Then main problems and causes were inferred．Research has found that construction of high standard farmland in the entire county has disadvantages and threats such as low investment standards, lack of management and protection funds, homogeneous and different prices of farmland electricity, and difficulties in balancing inflow and outflow of farmland．In response to above disadvantages and threats, countermeasures and suggestions were proposed to increase investment density of fiscal funds per unit land area, broaden funding channels, optimize layout structure reasonably, promote reform of agricultural irrigation electricity prices, coordinate import and export balance indicators of cultivated land, establish and improve high standard farmland asset management and infrastructure protection systems．
