Abstract: In recent years, with deepening of supply side structural reform, wheat demand has shifted from quantity based to quality based．Improvement of wheat seeds can significantly enhance production quality．Using seeds as a starting point, based on panel data of various indicators from 14 major wheat producing areas from 2005 to 2020, a transcendental logarithmic cost function model was adopted to calculate demand price elasticity and substitution elasticity of wheat seed factors, and analyze differences among major wheat producing areas．
