Abstract: In order to promote high-quality development of agriculture in Beijing, encourage and guide application and innovation of modern information technology in various aspects and fields such as agricultural and rural production, operation, management, and services, promote deep integration of information technology with agriculture and rural areas, and drive rural revitalization and modernization with informationization, Beijing actively carries out selection of agricultural and rural informationization demonstration bases in accordance with requirements of the "National Agricultural and Rural Informationization Demonstration Base Recognition Method（Revised）" issued by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs．Through on-site visits, interviews, survey questionnaires, and other research methods, scurrent development status, existing problems, and future development prospects of Beijing Agricultural and Rural Informatization Demonstration Base were understood to provide typical practices and successful experiences for promoting modernization of agriculture and rural areas in Beijing and achieving rural revitalization．
