Abstract: Agricultural value of Polygonatum cyrtonema Hua and Akebia trifoliata（Thunb.）Koidz. relay intercropping is mainly reflected in environmental protection, crop disease and pest control, soil fertility improvement, and increased economic benefits．High-yield and high-efficient cultivation techniques model of intercropping Polygonatum cyrtonema Hua under the Akebia trifoliata（Thunb.）Koidz．forest in eastern Sichuan has been summarized, including sowing time, sowing method, seedbed management, site selection, pre-planting preparation, intertillage weeding, fertilization management, shaping and pruning, greenhouse construction, pest and disease management, and harvesting．In order to achieve a win-win situation in agricultural ecology and economy by optimizing agricultural production mode, and intercropping Polygonatum cyrtonema Hua intercropping under the Akebia trifoliata（Thunb.）Koidz．forest will become an important direction for current and future sustainable agricultural development．
