Abstract: With rapid development of cities, it is important to improve comprehensive production capacity of land resources by constructing high-standard farmland to ensure quantity and quality of cultivated land．Starting from background of new era, current situation and achievements of high-standard farmland construction were expounded, and key points and suggestions for future high-standard farmland construction were proposed．
