Abstract:
For cotton picker in process of picking cotton is prone to poor transportation, clogging, and other issues, to avoid cotton picker due to clogging problems caused by operational inefficiency and fire hazards, centrifugal fans of cotton picker and wind cotton conveyor system needs to be researched in depth.Basic structure and function of wind-driven cotton delivery system as core components of cotton picker were introduced, emphasizing core position of centrifugal fan in this system and its importance to cotton delivery efficiency and cotton blockage prevention.Four main reasons of blockage in wind-driven cotton delivery system of cotton pickers were analyzed, including incomplete removal of impurities, insufficient de-cottonization, improper maintenance and mechanical failure, and urgency of optimizing centrifugal fan design and intelligent control strategy was pointed out.Research progress of centrifugal fans at home and abroad was reviewed in detail, especially applications of aerodynamic design optimization, noise control, and Fluent simulation technology in improving efficiency and performance of fans.
Research results on blockage and wind field characteristics of wind-driven cotton delivery system were discussed, and it was proposed that optimizing layout of cotton conveyor pipeline and fan through simulation and experimental testing could effectively reduce blockage and improve cotton conveyor efficiency, which could provide a relevant theoretical basis for improving efficiency of cotton delivery system and preventing fire in cotton picker.
