Abstract: Zhengdan 958 and Longping 206 were selected as the control, and 6 different maize varieties were sown at the same time in the same area and managed under unified management, and were observed in comparison for two years．Effects of light, temperature, water and other main meteorological factors on different summer maize varieties at different growth stages were analyzed and studied, and adaptability and stress resistance of maize varieties' growth, yield and other indexes in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province were evaluated, to select summer maize varieties with good comprehensive performance suitable for planting and popularizing in west Shandong Province．Results showed that Longping 904, Longping 243, and Qiule 368 performed excellently．
