Abstract:
Bioengineering is a multidisciplinary and application-oriented discipline closely linked to industry development.Bioengineering major core course Fermentation Engineering at Sichuan University of Science & Engineering was taken as a starting point to explore virtual simulation technology application and its effectiveness on talent cultivation. Results showed that virtual simulation technology addressed issues in traditional experimental teaching, such as high equipment costs, significant operational risks, and lengthy experimental cycles.A safe and efficient experimental environment was provided through this technology, so as to cultivate students' innovative thinking and practical abilities, and enhance teaching quality.Virtual simulation technology has been widely applied in bioengineering major core courses. It can simulate complex process flows, restore real production scenarios, mitigate biosafety risks, and assist students in integrating interdisciplinary knowledge. This approach fosters systematic thinking and comprehensive practical application skills, offering new pathways for experimental teaching and advancing innovative engineering talents cultivation in bioengineering.
