Abstract:
Current situation of carbon sequestration in high-standard farmland was introduced, and mechanism and strategy of carbon sequestration value transformation were discussed in depth.Firstly, definition and current construction status of high-standard farmland were summarized, followed by an evaluation of its carbon sequestration capacity and carbon-sink function.Based on pointing out existing problems and challenges, transformation principles, paths, and models of high-standard farmland carbon sequestration value were elaborated in detail, and key factors affecting value conversion were identified. To promote achievement of carbon sequestration value, a series of mechanism construction and optimization suggestions were proposed, including improving policy system, strengthening diffusion of technical research and development, and cultivating carbon trading markets. In addition, strategies for enhancing carbon sequestration capacity of high-standard farmland were formulated, and policy measures to promote value transformation and collaborative social participation mechanisms were explored. Finally, future research directions were prospected, aiming to provide a scientific basis and practical guidance for quantifying and realizing of carbon sequestration value in farmland.
