Abstract: Imbalance between supply and demand in Sichuan agricultural machinery market has long been a prominent issue requiring urgently resolution, and characterized by coexistence of unusable agricultural machinery and applicable agricultural machinery without demand．Based on current development situation, under perspective of supply demand matching, imbalance characteristics in agricultural machinery market structure, such as mismatched product categories, disconnected supporting services, and lagging green intelligent transformation, were analyzed．Multiple internal reasons affecting structural supply demand imbalance in Sichuan provincial agricultural machinery sector were examined．Moreover, multiple measures have been proposed, including coordinating government's guiding role with market regulation, enhancing innovation capacity on supply side, promoting supply side transformation by demand-led, bridging information gap to facilitate supply demand matching, and promoting in-depth integration of scientific research, manufacturing, and application．Multiple measures should be taken to promote agricultural machinery high-quality development in Sichuan Province．
