Abstract:
Ideological and political construction in courses is of great significance for universities to implement fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, and enhance students' professional understanding and development prospects.Horticultural Machinery is an elective course for students majoring in fruit trees, vegetables, ornamental horticulture, and facility horticulture.According to training goals of new agricultural science, students majoring in horticulture need to pay attention to cross-integration of engineering and agriculture, cultivation of new knowledge and skills, and comprehensive engineering abilities improvement in agricultural production process.Combined with strengths of teaching team members in their scientific research fields, when they taught each knowledge module of course, ideological and political elements and cases of course were explored.Professional knowledge was imparted to students and students' professional skills were improved, which could further shape their values and enhance their agricultural embracing idea.By enriching teaching content, innovating teaching processes, and reforming assessment methods, ideological and political conduction in course, implementation effect was summarized, which provided a reference for ideological and political education construction of similar courses in higher agricultural colleges and universities.
