Abstract:
As an important agricultural province in Southwest China, Sichuan Province faces unique challenges in developing agricultural machinery socialization services due to its hilly and mountainous terrain.To explore development pathways of agricultural machinery socialization services in this region, current development status, main problems, and optimization countermeasures for agricultural machinery socialization services in hilly and mountainous areas of Sichuan Province were systematically analyzed.Sichuan Province has initially formed a diversified service system centered on agricultural machinery professional cooperatives, with collaborative participation from family farms, large-scale agricultural machinery operators, and agricultural enterprises.Through models such as land transfer, order-based farming, and entrusted management services, efficiency in agricultural machinery utilization has been enhanced, achieving remarkable results in promoting large-scale agricultural operations, reducing production costs, and increasing farmers' income.However, due to natural conditions such as fragmented terrain and scattered fields in hilly and mountainous areas, coupled with limitations like small scale of service providers, insufficient adaptability of agricultural machinery equipment, and incomplete infrastructure, agricultural machinery socialization services still face bottleneck problems including weak full-process service capabilities and insufficient sustainable development momentum.Therefore, it is suggested that efforts be made from aspects such as strengthening service capacity building, promoting model innovation, improving support system, and optimizing policy environment to build an agricultural machinery socialization service system adapted to characteristics of hilly and mountainous areas, providing strong support for agriculture modernization in hilly and mountainous areas of Sichuan Province.
