Abstract:
To clarify nutrient resource status and potential for in situ returning farmland with vegetable waste in Linyi City, 12 counties and districts in Linyi City were taken as research object.Based on statistical data and literature research, yield and nutrient resource distribution of vegetable waste in Linyi City were estimated, and potential for in situ returning farmland was analyzed. Results showed that in 2023, vegetable waste yields in Linyi City of four categories, leafy vegetables, rhizomes, melon vegetables, and solanaceous vegetables, were 166.7, 77.0, 78.2, and 70.0 thousand tons, respectively.Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium nutrient contents of four types vegetable waste were 10.6, 6.1, and 13.1 thousand tons, respectively. If all of it was in situ returning farmland, chemical nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers could be replaced at 98.33, 56.63, and 121.74 kg/hm
2, respectively. This conclusion could provide theoretical reference for improving vegetable waste utilization efficiency in Linyi City and reducing agricultural non-point source pollution.
